These terms apply to browsing the Prospectus directory and to school accounts and subscriptions.

The directory

Listings are provided for general information. We work to keep them accurate but do not guarantee completeness; always verify important details (fees, admissions, availability) directly with the school before making decisions.

School accounts

Claiming a listing means showing you work at the school, normally by verifying an email address on the school's own domain. You are responsible for the content you publish on your listing. We may edit, suspend or remove content or accounts that are inaccurate, misleading or abusive, and may revoke a claim that proves invalid or when the claimant leaves the school.

Paid listings

Prices and what each plan includes are on the For schools page; billing runs through Stripe. Upgrades apply immediately, with credit for unused time; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period, and there are no refunds for unused time. When a plan lapses, paid features and school-published content stop being displayed but are retained, and reappear if you resubscribe. Email us if you would rather have content deleted.

School-published articles are the school's own content and are labelled as such. They must be about the school or its city, and we may unpublish any that break these rules; quota is not refunded.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prospectus is not liable for decisions made in reliance on listing content, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes, law, contact

We may update these terms as the product changes; material changes are emailed to account holders before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: hello@prospectus.ac.
