Strictly necessary

If you sign in to manage a school listing, we set session cookies to keep you signed in. Choosing a display currency sets one cookie that remembers it. If you subscribe, Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout and billing pages under its own policy. Your cookie choice and your saved-schools list are kept in your browser's local storage, on your device only. Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs its bot check from challenges.cloudflare.com and stores only what that check needs.

Pictures in The Bulletin load straight from the news source each story cites, and that source's image host may set cookies of its own under its own policy. We set none there.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which schools families look at, so that schools can see how their listing is doing (in aggregate: views, saves, clicks and visitor countries; never individual visitors). Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*, up to two years) to tell returning visitors from new ones.

In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask before setting them; until you accept, and if you decline, Google Analytics runs without cookies and only anonymous, aggregate counts are kept (Google's consent mode). Elsewhere analytics cookies are set by default. You can change your choice at any time: Cookie settings.
